2026 CRNN General Election Candidate Recommendations

PLEASE READ THESE NOTES FIRST!

The following is the list of candidates that CRNN recommends citizens vote for in the 2026 general election. Please first take note of the following key points:

1. Recommendations are NOT necessarily equivalent to endorsements! The following recommendations are merely made to help voters elect the best candidates possible from among the available options who are running and who survived their previous primary contests. CRNN generally favors Republican candidates or candidates from the conservative Independent American Party, as their candidates typically reflect our group platform's values more closely than others. When a Non-Partisan, Libertarian, Democratic, or Other party candidate is recommended in a given race, no or no other (in the case of elections where more than one candidate may be chosen) Republican or IAP candidate is known to be running; and a "lesser of two evils" recommendation is being offered.

2. (R) is used to denote Republicans, (D) to denote Democrats, (NP) to denote Non-Partisans, (IAP) to denote Independent American Party candidates, (L) to denote Libertarians, and (O) to denote Other or all other parties.

3. An asterisk (*) within any party affiliation designation means that CRNN has assigned the denoted party affiliation to the corresponding candidate based on private research and not based on the confirmation of an official government, political party, or news source. Party affiliations marked with an asterisk may be inaccurate and are merely rough estimates of a candidate’s probable political affiliation!

4. No Vote means that CRNN recommends you skip voting in a particular race. This means neither selecting a candidate running in that race nor selecting the option which appears in some elections "None of these candidates." The purpose of not voting as recommended is to withhold support from poor candidate options and to make any potential recall efforts against those candidates easier in the future. In order to recall a non-judicial office-holder in Nevada, a recall petition must first garner a number of signatures greater than or equal to 25% of the total number of voters who voted in the last election for that office-holder's position. Thus, not voting in an election ensures that fewer total votes are recorded in that election and reduces the number of signatures that must be gathered for a recall petition should a recall effort be initiated against the election's winner. This does not now apply to judges in Nevada due to a 2017 Nevada Supreme Court ruling; but CRNN still recommends not voting for poor candidates in judicial elections in case that ruling should ever be challenged or overturned.
